Coal India Limited (CIL) and India Rare Earths Limited (IREL) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore collaborative opportunities in the development and sourcing of critical minerals, including mineral sands and rare earth elements.
The non-binding MoU aims to facilitate cooperation in areas such as mining, extraction, and refining of mutually agreed assets. The agreement will focus on acquiring assets or sourcing raw materials domestically and internationally to ensure a sustainable supply of critical minerals.
