Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) power transmission & distribution (PT&D) vertical has secured orders in India and the Middle East.
In India, the PT&D business has secured an order to implement an advanced distribution management system in West Bengal. This system integrates outage management and distribution management functionalities, enabling real-time monitoring and control of medium and low-voltage networks. The project aims to enhance network reliability by facilitating quick fault isolation and faster restoration. In the Middle East, the business has received a major order in Saudi Arabia for a 380 kV substation that will enable the evacuation of solar power generation. Additionally, PT&D has secured an order for a 400 kV substation at a prominent city project in Kuwait. In Dubai, the company has been awarded multiple orders for establishing extra high voltage substations, including a 400/132 kV substation.
