The UAE has launched the world’s first renewable energy project capable of providing round-the-clock clean power.
This facility combines 5.2 GW of solar power with 19 GWh of energy storage, ensuring a consistent supply of 1 GW of renewable baseload power. The facility is a partnership with the Emirates Water and Electricity Company and addresses the challenge of renewable energy intermittency.
