The Electrical Research and Development Association (ERDA) has received approval from KAHRAMAA (Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation) as a third-party laboratory, enabling ERDA to provide accepted test reports for KAHRAMAA’s distribution network (up to 33kV) on products such as low voltage switchgear, instrument transformers, conductors & accessories, insulators & insulating materials, earthing systems, and insulating oil. This accreditation not only enhances ERDA’s role in ensuring high safety and quality standards in Qatar’s electrical infrastructure but also offers critical support to Indian manufacturers looking to export electrical products to Qatar, ensuring compliance with KAHRAMAA’s requirements. Additionally, ERDA’s global recognition is reinforced through its accreditations from Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and Tenaga Nasional Berhad in Malaysia, strengthening its position in the international market and supporting manufacturers in meeting global standards.
