The Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has issued an expression of interest (EoI) to develop solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 2 GW across four districts in the state.
The initiative aims to attract solar project developers to invest in Uttar Pradesh’s solar sector. UPNEDA will lease land for the projects, which will be developed on a build own operate basis on designated government land parcels. The EoI invites developers to engage in the rapid deployment of solar PV projects in Chitrakoot, Jhansi, Lalitpur, and Jalaun.
