Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has secured REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited’s (RECPDCL) Rs 250 billion Bhadla-Fatehpur high voltage direct current transmission project.
This project will facilitate the evacuation of 6,000 MW of renewable energy from Rajasthan’s renewable energy zones to demand centers in North India and the national grid. The project is part of a broader initiative under Phase III Part I to evacuate an additional 20,000 MW of renewable energy from Rajasthan. AESL was awarded the project through the tariff-based competitive bidding mechanism. with RECPDCL acting as the bid process coordinator.
