AZAD Engineering Limited has signed a long-term contract and price agreement with Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG for the manufacturing and supply of mission-critical components.
The contract, valued at 90.1 million Euros over six years, includes the production of combustion commodities, cold blades and vanes, machined parts, and assemblies for advanced turbine systems. Further, AZAD Engineering also secured order from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for supercritical turbine components for the supply of advanced, high-complex rotating airfoils for supercritical turbines. The order is part of an indigenisation project, evaluated and approved by the Central Electricity Authority (Ministry of Power), NTPC, and BHEL.
