The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has inaugurated a 132/33 kV transformer at the Isolo transmission station in Lagos.
Installed with a capacity of 110 MVA, the transformer is expected to alleviate the load on current systems and improve electricity distribution across Isolo, Ejigbo, Okota, and nearby areas. The inaugural ceremony, held in Lagos, assembled several prominent figures, including officials from Minister of Power and TCN, along with representatives from Ikeja Electric and Eko Electricity Distribution Company, underscoring the collaborative efforts to strengthen the state’s energy network. This addition is expected to benefit local residents and business by facilitating reliable power supply.
