Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has received a letter of award (LoA) from Continuum Green Energy Limited for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 40 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at wind-solar hybrid sites in Gujarat.
The total project cost is estimated at Rs 400 million. The project will utilise lithium iron phosphate based liquid-cooled containerised BESS technology. It will be executed under a lump sum turnkey project agreement, integrating the solar project into a single battery storage system. The project is expected to enhance the efficiency and reliability of renewable energy infrastructure in Gujarat
