Torrent Power Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary Torrent Green Energy Private Limited, has incorporated a new subsidiary, Torrent Urja 30 Private Limited, with an investment of Rs 500,000 by subscribing to 50,000 equity shares of face value Rs 10 each.
Torrent Urja 30 Private Limited will focus on electricity generation from renewable energy sources. The subsidiary aims to engage in the production, processing, trading, and distribution of hydrogen, its derivatives, natural gas, and other renewable energy-related products, along with power generation, transmission, and distribution.
