PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) has incorporated a new special purpose vehicle, Kakinada I Transmission Limited, for the development of a transmission system to support proposed green hydrogen/green ammonia projects in the Kakinada region (Phase-I).
The Ministry of Power has appointed PFCCL as the bid process coordinator for selecting a transmission service provider to implement the transmission system under the tariff based competitive bidding process. The incorporation of Kakinada I Transmission enables preparatory activities such as surveying, land acquisition, and other procedural steps for the transmission project.
