EDF India and Actis have formed a strategic joint venture (JV) to develop and operate a dedicated advanced metering infrastructure service provider (AMISP) platform in India, reinforcing their commitment to the country’s power sector.
The advanced metering solutions will enhance operational efficiency, reduce losses, and improve financial sustainability for India’s power distribution companies. EDF India and Actis will leverage their global expertise in energy solutions and infrastructure investments to accelerate the rollout of smart metering infrastructure, supporting India’s energy transition.
