Suzlon Group has secured a 204.75 MW wind energy order from Jindal Green Wind 1 Private Limited, a wholly subsidiary of Jindal Renewables, to advance the low carbon dioxide steel revolution in India. Suzlon will supply 65 S144 wind turbine generators with hybrid lattice towers, each rated at 3.15 MW capacity. The energy generated will be used for captive consumption in steel plants in Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
