Al Yamamah Steel Industries Company signed a contract worth SAR174.9 million with Hyundai Engineering & Construction’s Saudi branch to supply steel towers for a 380 kV transmission line project in Saudi Arabia’s western region.
The contract spans one year, with deliveries set to commence in September 2025. Before this, the company also secured deals worth SAR112.9 million and SAR97.5 million with National Power Construction Corporation and Trading & Development Partnership respectively, to supply steel towers for a similar 380 kV transmission project in the western and eastern region. Both projects align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which focuses on diversifying energy resources and advancing renewable energy initiatives.
