Tata Power has been ranked among India’s top-performing power utilities, securing A+ ratings in the latest rankings released by the Ministry of Power. Tata Power Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), Tata Power Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL) and Tata Power Western Odisha Distribution Limited (TPWODL), operating as joint ventures with the Government of Odisha, were recognised for their excellence in financial sustainability, operational performance and external environment. The rankings were announced during a Regional Review Meeting of the Power Sector in New Delhi, where three key reports were launched – the 13th Integrated Ratings of 63 Distribution Utilities for 2023-24, the 4th Edition of the Consumer Services Rating of Distribution Companies Report and the First Edition of the Distribution Utilities Ranking Report. TPCODL, TPNODL and TPWODL were among the top-ranked utilities, receiving A+ ratings in the 13th Integrated Ratings of Distribution Utilities for FY 2023-24.
