The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid) has commenced the GRIDCON 2025, an international conference and exhibition on power transmission and grid innovations. The event is being scheduled from March 8, 2025, to March 11, 2025, at the India International Convention & Expo Centre (IICC), Yashobhoomi, Dwarka. The event is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Power and in association with CIGRE India. GRIDCON 2025 focuses on innovations in grid resilience, strategies for enhancing the reliability, sustainability, and adaptability of power transmission systems. The event is aimed to showcase advancements in renewable energy integration, asset management, and digital transformation in the power sector. The event was inaugurated by Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal, alongside Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik.
