SJVN Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Chhattisgarh and Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited (CSPGCL) to develop an 1,800 MW pumped hydro storage project at Kotpali. Under the agreement, SJVN will invest Rs 95 billion in the off-stream closed-loop project in Balrampur district.
