Actis has invested approximately USD 600 million in Terra Solar Philippines, alongside SP New Energy Corporation, a subsidiary of MGEN Renewable Energy.
The transaction marks the completion of the share subscription agreement between Terra Solar Philippines and Actis, granting the latter an equity stake in MTerra Solar. The project has 850 MW of contracted capacity under a 20-year agreement and is aligned with the Philippines’ Renewable Portfolio Standards programme. The investment reinforces Actis’ commitment to accelerating the energy transition in Southeast Asia through large-scale renewable energy platforms.
