Reportedly, Borosil Renewables has planned invest Rs 9 billion to expand its solar glass manufacturing capacity from 6.5 GW to 10 GW at its existing facility in Bharuch, Gujarat, by July 2026.
The company plans to add 3.5 GW of new capacity over the next 15 months. The investment will be funded through a combination of recently raised equity, internal accruals, and bank debt. Project planning has been completed, and procurement processes are underway.
