Borosil Renewables Limited has received capital incentives amounting to Rs 77.7 million from the Gujarat State Electronics Mission, Department of Science & Technology.
The incentive has been granted under the Electronics Policy (2016-21) for attracting investments in the electronics system design and manufacturing sector. The funds are in relation to the capital expenditure incurred for commissioning the company’s third solar glass furnace (SG-3) at its Bharuch plant. Following the commissioning of SG-3, Borosil Renewables has announced plans to set up a fourth solar glass furnace with a capacity of 1,100 tonnes per day followed by an additional furnace as part of its expansion strategy. These new units are expected to be commissioned between July and September 2026.
