Reportedly, SJVN Limited has released Rs 2.69 billion as land compensation for the 3,097 MW Etalin Hydro Electric Project in Dibang Valley, Arunachal Pradesh.
The Etalin project involves the construction of two dams on the Dri and Talo (Tangon) rivers and an underground powerhouse complex. The project is scheduled for commissioning in December 2033.
