Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) and Tata Motors have signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) to jointly develop a 131 MW wind-solar hybrid renewable energy project.
The project is designed to supply green electricity exclusively to six of Tata Motors’ manufacturing plants located in Maharashtra and Gujarat. The renewable energy generated will directly support Tata Motors’ production of commercial and passenger vehicles across its facilities.
