The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has launched the green hydrogen certification scheme.
The MNRE emphasised the government’s commitment to building a self-reliant green hydrogen ecosystem by 2030. The MNRE also noted that micro, small and medium enterprises will serve as the backbone of India’s energy transition, contributing through their agility, innovation, and regional presence. The certification scheme aims to bring clarity and credibility to India’s green hydrogen production and trading ecosystem.
