NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited, has commenced full commercial operations of its 150 MW Gujarat solar photovoltaic project located in Limbdi, Gujarat.
The project was awarded under the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited’s (GUVNL) 500 MW Solar (Phase XII) tender. The final 60 MW segment was commissioned on April 16, 2025, following earlier phases of 60 MW on July 29, 2024, and 30 MW on December 11, 2024. With this, the entire 150 MW capacity is now operational and contributing to the state’s renewable energy capacity.
