NLC India Renewables Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary and the renewable energy arm of NLC India Limited (NLCIL), has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) for the supply of 810 MW of solar power.
The power will be sourced from a grid-connected solar photovoltaic project to be developed in the Bikaner district of Rajasthan, a region with high solar radiation.
