Volks Energie has secured a contract from GAIL Limited’s Jagdishpur–Haldia–Bokaro–Dhamra pipeline (JHBDPL) project to design, supply, install, and commission 15 kWp solar photovoltaic systems.
They are integrated with nickel-cadmium battery energy storage systems (BESS) across nine sites in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh. The project aims to enhance off-grid renewable energy capacity along GAIL’s eastern corridor, supporting pipeline infrastructure in regions with challenging climatic and operational conditions.
