Suzlon Energy Limited and Integrum Energy Infrastructure Limited have secured letters of award (LoAs) from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) for developing a total of 100 MW of wind power capacity.
Suzlon will develop a 50 MW wind project in Madhya Pradesh, while Integrum will execute a 50 MW project in Maharashtra. The projects will cater to the captive power needs of BPCL’s Bina refinery in Madhya Pradesh and Mumbai refinery respectively. Both wind farms are expected to be commissioned within two years.
