Alpex Solar Limited has secured an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order worth Rs 3.50 billion from Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Coal India Limited.
The scope of work includes the design, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning of a ground-mounted solar power plant at Nandan Washery, Kanhan Area of western coalfields Limited. Alpex Solar will execute the project as part of a consortium, holding a 70 per cent share in the contract value. The order is classified as a commercial, domestic project with an execution timeline of 540 days.
