Reportedly, SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN Limited has commenced commercial operations of 78.23 MW capacity under Phase-II of the 1,000 MW grid connected solar photovoltaic power project (CPSU Tranche-III) in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The 1,000 MW solar power project is being developed by Tata Power Solar Systems Limited at a cost of Rs 54.92 billion on engineering, procurement and construction basis in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The power procured from the project will be supplied under a power usage agreement to Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited, Jammu and Kashmir Power Corporation Limited and Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services Limited.
