The Ministry of Mines (MoM) has launched the mining dashboard, a centralised digital platform to monitor the operational status of auctioned mineral blocks and track statutory clearances across the country.
The ministry highlighted that the dashboard will enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in the mineral sector. Additionally, 500 mineral blocks have been auctioned across 16 states so far, with 64 of them already operationalised. The dashboard is expected to serve as a real-time monitoring tool, enabling identification of bottlenecks and timely interventions by central and state governments.
