NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) for 1,000 MW of solar capacity.
The PPA was signed at a discovered tariff of Rs 2.56 per kWh. The agreement follows NTPC REL’s win in UPPCL’s solar photo voltaic power project auction in January 2025.
