ACME Solar commissions 60 MW Sikar solar project in Rajasthan

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has commissioned the final 60 MW capacity of its 300 MW Sikar solar project in Rajasthan.

The project is part of the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI- interstate transmission system tranche)-XVIII scheme and is connected to the Bikaner II substation at 220 kV. Earlier, 240 MW of the project was part-commissioned in the previous quarter. The project has secured a tariff of Rs 3.05 per unit and a power purchase agreement is expected to be signed shortly. In addition, ACME Solar also commissioned its maiden 50 MW wind project at Shapar, Gujarat during the current quarter, with the final 3.3 MW turbine installed recently.
