Premier Energies Limited has commissioned a new 1.2 GW tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) solar cell manufacturing line at its facility in Telangana.
The company is among the first few solar manufacturers in India to operationalise a TOPCon cell line, capable of achieving solar cell efficiencies exceeding 25 per cent. The facility features an advanced 16-busbar architecture, which enhances power density and energy yield under real-world conditions.
