Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Limited, has commissioned 752 MW of solar capacity in the first quarter of 2025-26.
With this, TPREL’s total operational utility-scale capacity has reached 5.6 GW, comprising 4.6 GW of solar and 1 GW of wind. The company plans to commission an additional 1.7 GW of utility-owned capacity and 1 GW of third-party projects during the current financial year. Tata Power is targeting 7.3 GW of total operational renewable capacity by the end of 2025-26, including 5.6 GW of solar and 1.7 GW of wind.
