ACEN and UPC renewables commences construction of over 500 MW renewable projects in India

ACEN and UPC Renewables have commenced construction of two large-scale renewable energy projects in India of 420 MW solar project in Rajasthan and a 120 MW wind project in Karnataka.

Together, the 540 MW portfolio is expected to generate 1,158 GWh of clean electricity annually by early 2027. The 420 MW solar plant, located in the high-irradiance Barmer region of Rajasthan is projected to deliver 767 GWh of electricity annually, while the 120 MW wind facility in Karnataka will generate an estimated 391 GWh, utilising favourable wind conditions and terrain.
