Vanya Steels to commission 10 MW waste-to-energy plant in Karnataka

Vanya Steels, a wholly owned subsidiary of A-One Steel Group, is set to commission a 10 MW waste-to-energy power plant at its manufacturing facility in Koppal, Karnataka.

The company is investing Rs 1 billion in the project, which will operate on advanced waste heat recovery boiler technology. The captive power plant is designed to harness residual heat from the steelmaking process and convert it into clean electricity.
