The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ather Energy Limited to strengthen India’s electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing and clean mobility ecosystem.
The partnership has been launched under the startup policy forum’s ‘Build in Bharat’ initiative and aims to support hardware and deep-tech startups through strategic mentorship, infrastructure support, joint innovation programmes and talent development. The collaboration will also include participation in flagship events such as Startup Mahakumbh and exposure visits for startups.
