Avaada Group is set to invest Rs 50 billion to develop renewable energy projects with a total capacity of 1,000 MW across Bihar.
The investment will be made under a memorandum of understanding signed with the state government. The proposed projects include ground-mounted, floating, and community solar plants, along with battery energy storage systems. As part of the agreement, the government of Bihar will assist the company in obtaining necessary approvals, clearances, and access to land and water bodies. The projects are expected to begin generation within two years of signing power purchase agreements with state agencies, and finalisation of land or water body allocations.
