Tata Power-DDL partners with Magna Yuma to set up battery-swapping stations in Delhi

Reportedly, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL) has partnered with Magna Yuma Private Limited to establish battery-swapping stations for electric vehicles (EVs) in Delhi, supporting clean energy adoption and sustainable mobility.

As part of the collaboration, Tata Power-DDL will provide space at its grid substations for the installation of battery-swapping infrastructure, while Magna Yuma will be responsible for the design, procurement, installation, and maintenance of the stations. Initially, two battery-swapping stations will be set up at Tata Power-DDL’s Shalimar Bagh Centre grid and Badli Grid substations. The initiative is expected to enhance the EV ecosystem in the national capital by improving access to convenient and reliable battery-swapping solutions.
