Hindustan Power has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) for a 435 MW direct current (DC) solar photovoltaic (PV) project.
The project will be set up in Uttar Pradesh. Under the agreement, Hindustan Power will supply clean power for 25 years from the solar project. Furthermore, it has commenced on-ground operations with the inauguration of its office at the site. The project was awarded by UPPCL through a competitive bidding process in April 2025.
