Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured an order from Adani Power Limited to set up eight thermal power units of 800 MW each, totalling 6,400 MW of generation capacity.
The order will be executed by the company’s business vertical for advanced power and low carbon technologies, L&T Energy – CarbonLite Solutions. The scope includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, and commissioning of boiler-turbine-generator packages, along with auxiliaries and associated mechanical, electrical, and control and instrumentation systems. Adani Power Limited will use the project to strengthen baseload supply.
