Adani Power Limited has secured a letter of award (LoA) from Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL) to supply power from an 800 MW greenfield ultra-supercritical thermal power plant to be developed in Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh.
The project will be implemented on a design, build, finance, own and operate basis at an investment of about Rs 105 billion. The company emerged as one of the lowest bidders in a competitive process, quoting a final tariff of Rs 5.83 per unit. The plant is expected to be commissioned within 54 months of the agreement.
