Nxtra Data Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, has released its sustainability report for 2024-25, outlining progress in building intelligent, scalable and sustainable digital infrastructure. The company achieved a 15 per cent year-on-year increase in emission reductions, amounting to 188,507 tCO2e during the year. Renewable energy accounted for 49 per cent of the total power consumed across Nxtra’s core data centre facilities. On the social front, the company reported a 130 per cent increase in its women workforce under the NxtWave initiative. The report highlights Nxtra’s focus on minimising environmental impact through clean energy and efficient operations, advancing social inclusion and safety, and strengthening governance with transparency and accountability.
