ACME Solar Holdings Limited has secured a letter of award (LoA) for a 50 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project from Tata Power Company Limited at a tariff of Rs 4.43 per unit .
The tender was floated under tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) guidelines, and an e-reverse auction was conducted on August 13, 2025. The project must maintain a minimum annual capacity utilisation factor of 40 per cent and ensure four hours of peak-hour supply with 90 per cent availability on a monthly basis. The project will deploy multiple renewable energy technologies, including solar and battery energy storage systems to meet the supply obligations for a power purchase agreement (PPA) of 25 years. The commissioning timeline for the project is 24 months from the date of PPA signing.
