ANDRITZ has bagged an order from Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) to supply reversible pump turbines, motor-generators and related electromechanical equipment for the Gandikota pumped storage project (PSP).
The PSP has a capacity of 1,800 MW and is situated in the YSR Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh. Furthermore, the scope of work for ANDRITZ encompasses the design, manufacture, installation, testing, and commissioning of the pumped storage units, including all related auxiliaries. The project will be executed using ANDRITZ’s manufacturing facilities in India.
