Engie India has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) for the supply of 300 MW of solar power with NTPC Limited, which is the offtaker of the project.
Engie India won the 300 MW project through a competitive bidding auction conducted by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited for the development of a 1,250 MW inter-state transmission system connected solar power projects-tranche I. The project has been won at a tariff of Rs 2.55 per kWh.
