Prostarm Info Systems Limited has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Prostarm Karnataka BESS Private Limited, as a special purpose vehicle (SPV) for setting up a 150 MW/300 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) at the 400 kV Doni substation in Karnataka.
The project will be implemented under the tariff based competitive bidding route on a build-own-operate basis. The SPV is headquartered in Maharashtra.
