Suzlon Group has secured its largest order in 2025-26 from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) for the supply of 838 MW of wind turbines under the firm and dispatchable renewable energy project.
The project will involve the installation of 266 units of Suzlon’s S144 wind turbines, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. The turbines will be manufactured in India and deployed across three states, Karnataka (302 MW), Maharashtra (271 MW) and Tamil Nadu (265 MW). The project is part of the FDRE bids awarded to SJVN Limited and NTPC Limited and aims to support round-the-clock renewable power supply.
