Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) heavy civil infrastructure vertical has secured a significant order from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) for the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project Units 5 and 6 (2×1000 MWe) in Tamil Nadu.
The contract covers the mechanical package, including installation of the reactor and turbine systems, sea water systems, polar and trestle cranes, and other related components. It also includes piping, accessories, structural steelwork, painting, anti-corrosion coating, insulation, and full testing across buildings and structures on site.
