The Prime Minister has virtually innaugurated SJVN Limited’s 200 MW solar power project under the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) Phase–XVII tender at the Khavda solar park in Gujarat.
The project is being developed at an estimated cost of Rs 8.67 billion in the Kachchh district and will supply power to GUVNL under a 25-year power purchase agreement at a tariff of Rs 2.88 per unit. It is scheduled for commissioning by December 2026.
